Quality

Our quality department is staffed by quality engineers who monitor every process and every step to ensure that MSI meets and exceeds the specifications to build quality into every part.

Our Quality Assurance Program not only conforms to ISO/AS 9100, but has built-in provisions to accommodate our customers' individual needs.  We also comply with ISO-9002 and MIL-C-45662.  Consequently, all measuring tools are calibrated on a schedule and their accuracy is traceable to the National for Standards and Technology.

In our lab, MSI programmers use PRO-E CAD-CAM to import CAD data from our customers’ CAD systems to generate CNC machine tool programs for the manufacturing process. These customer specific programs are kept on file in order to expedite the manufacturing process as subsequent orders are modified and/or placed.

Effective March 1, 2006 the quality management system for Machine Specialties, Inc. was found to be compliant to the requirements of AS9100B and ISO9001:2000. Although this was the first official audit, registration was recommended with no findings and the organization was praised for its effective internal audit process and strong commitment to continual improvement. The management and associates at Machine Specialties, Inc. anticipate future NADCAP approval for our Finishing Department and the overall growth that these certifications will enable as we are better equipped to meet our customers' needs.
