QUALITY ASSURANCE LAB

In our Quality Assurance Lab, all inspection equipment is maintained in a temperature and humidity controlled environment.  This includes a computer controlled Optical Comparator and a computer controlled Coordinate Measuring Machine.  Our machinists use this equipment to expedite first piece inspection and perform in-process inspections.

The Lab is a support facility for our machinists, assuring they have the resources needed to perform the quality functions at the machine, because quality is actually achieved in the shop by our machinists.  At MSI, we don't believe in inspecting quality into parts, we believe in building quality into parts.  Our machinists are the only people who can do that.  Hard copy inspection charts can be shipped with an order if required.  Upon request, we will also customize an inspection program to meet your special requirements.

QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM
Our quality Assurance Program not only conforms to ISO/AS 9000, but has built-in provisions to accommodate our customers' individual needs.  We also comply with MIL-C-45662.  Consequently, all measuring tools are calibrated on a schedule and their accuracy is traceable to the National for Standards and Technology.
